Intelligent Appliance has announced on a new Fast Communication program, in regard to their IA-3000 Series of Relays, Analog and Digital Controller boards.
Up to 4 additional Communication Rates are going to be added to the present and to the new IA-3000 Series modules, according to their COM facility method.
The RS-232 and RS-485 boards will support 38400, 57600 and 115200 bps in addition to their original list, while the USB boards will support the 230400 bps range, as well.
The IA-3000 Series Faster Communication Rate program will take effect on January 2010.

The new tiny USB Relays module, the IA-2116-U, is an intelligent 16 SPDT Relays module, powered and controlled by any USB port.
The IA-2116-U provides both Normally Open and Normally Close channels, while the relays’ COMMON line is shared between 8 or 16 relays, making the wiring job simpler and easier. The IA-2116-U Relays has a contact rating of 2 Amp. @ 30VDC on both ways, NO and NC, while its software is IA-3000 Series compatible.
The IA-2116-U is simple to handle, cost effective, and provides an excellent, really high speed ommunication root between PC to Relay.
